Jaguars, Blackmon Agree to Terms

The Justin Blackmon holdout is finally over! The Jaguars and the 2012 number five overall pick agree to terms on a four-year contract per Vito Stellino of the Floriad Times-Union.

Stellino tweets, โ€œJustin Blackmon agreed to terms and will probably sign contract tomorrow to end his holdout.โ€

This is huge news for Jacksonville, as they didnโ€™t allow Blackmonโ€™s holdout drag out longer into camp. The Jaguars are finally able to get their rookie wideout into camp and get reps in with second year quarterback Blaine Gabbert. Blackmon wonโ€™t be ready for Jacksonvilleโ€™s preseason opener on Friday. Now, the Jaguars front office can focus on overcoming another giant hurdle, ending Maurice Jones-Drew holdout.
