Jaguars Claim LB Preston Brown, Place LB Quincy Williams On IR

The Jacksonville Jaguars officially placed LB Quincy Williams (hand) on injured reserve and claimed LB Preston Brown off waivers from the Raiders on Wednesday.

Brown, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Bills back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3,005,750 before agreeing to a one-year contract with the Bengals last year.

Brown agreed to a three-year contract worth up to $21 million with Cincinnati but was waived last month. The Raiders signed him to a contract soon after. 

In 2019, Brown has appeared in 10 games for the Raiders and Bengals and recorded 54 tackles, a forced fumble and a recovery.
