Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network mentions that the Jacksonville Jaguars can’t be ruled out as a potential option for free agent QB Michael Vick.
- Rapoport adds that they are still hoping to re-sign Chad Henne, but he expects them to be in on free agents like Vick and Josh McCown.
Vikings RB Adrian Peterson mentioned via his Twitter account Wednesday night that he is hoping Minnesota will pursue Vick in the coming weeks.
The Jaguars had one of the league’s worst quarterback situations last year, which is really saying something, so it makes plenty of sense for the to consider all of their available options in either free agency or the draft.
Vick is looking for a chance to start next season, so that will most likely be a determining factor in where he’s playing next.
Other speculative options for Vick include the Jets, Bills, Raiders, Buccaneers, and Texans.
