Jaguars Designate LB Quincy Williams To Return From IR

The Jacksonville Jaguars have designated LB Quincy Williams to return from injured reserve on Wednesday, per John Reid.Quincy Williams

This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Jaguars to activate him and add him to their 53-man roster.

Williams dealt with knee and hand injuries last year as a rookie, the latter which landed him on injured reserve. 

The Jaguars placed him on injured reserve with a core muscle injury a few weeks ago. 

Williams, 24, was the No. 98 overall pick by the Jaguars out of Murray State. He’s entering the second year of a four-year, $3,342,172 rookie contract that included an $822,172 signing bonus.  

In 2019, Williams appeared in 11 games for the Jaguars and recorded 48 total tackles.
