ESPN’s John Clayton joined SportsCenter tonight and mentioned that the Jacksonville Jaguars are “desperate” to move out of the #7 spot in this year’s draft.
Jacksonville appears to be hoping that the Chiefs will ultimately pull the trigger and trade up for Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill, but Clayton adds that it’s “probably not gonna happen.”
Things could change come draft day, especially if Tannehill is still on the board right before Miami is set to pick. The Dolphins are the consensus favorites to draft him, but some could always jump up and grab him. The Eagles have been rumored to be considering Tannehill, but it seems highly unlikely that they would make such a move.
