Jaguars Promote CB Dee Delaney To Active Roster

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Saturday that theyโ€™ve promoted CB Dee Delaney to their active roster.

Delaney takes the roster spot of RB Leonard Fournette, who is serving a one-game suspension.

Delaney, 23, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Miami this past April. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract but was waived coming out of the preseason.

The Jaguars later signed Delaney to their practice squad before calling him up in November. He returned to the Jaguarsโ€™ practice squad soon after.

In 2018, Delaney has appeared in one game for the Jaguars but has yet to record a statistic.
