The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they have promoted LB Deon King to their active roster and waived WR Montay Crockett in a corresponding roster move.
King, 24, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Norfolk State back in May of last year. Dallas eventually waived him and signed him to their practice squad.
He signed on with the Chargers’ practice squad and was claimed by the Colts. Cleveland signed him shortly after he was released by Indianapolis and has bounced on and off their practice squad.
The Jaguars signed him to their practice squad near the end of December.
In 2017, King appeared in nine games for the Browns and recorded two tackles.
