Jaguars Promote WR Michael Walker, Waive LB Joe Giles-Harris

The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted WR Michael Walker to their active roster and waived LB Joe Giles-Harris, according to Michael DiRocco

This appears to be a sign that WR Dede Westbrook (shoulder/neck) is unlikely to suit up for Sunday’s game against the Texans.

Walker, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Boston College back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Jaguars.

Unfortunately, Walker was waived coming out of the preseason and later re-signed to the Jaguars’ practice squad.

During his four-year college career, Walker caught 71 passes for 847 yards receiving and five touchdowns to go along with 112 rushing yards. He also totaled 2,656 kick return yards and 636 punt return yards and one touchdown over the course of 48 games.
