Per Michael DiRocco, the Jaguars announced they have re-signed DT Caraun Reid to the practice squad.
Jacksonville’s practice squad now includes:
- RB Nathan Cottrell
- LB Nate Evans
- LB Joe Giles-Harris
- WR Terry Godwin
- WR Josh Hammond
- T Austen Pleasants
- G Tre’Vour Wallace-Simms
- WR Trey Quinn
- TE Eric Saubert
- DB Josh Nurse
- DB Nate Meadors
- K Jon Brown
- C Evan Boehm
- FB Bruce Miller
- OT Garrett McGhin
- K Aldrick Rosas
- DL Caraun Reid
Reid, 28, is a former fifth-round pick of the Lions back in 2014. He lasted just over two years in Detroit before he was waived at the start of the 2016 season and later claimed off of waivers by the Chargers.
Unfortunately, Reid suffered a season-ending ACL tear in 2016 and was placed on injured reserve. The Chargers elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason and he had brief stints with the Lions, Redskins and Colts before signing on with the Cowboys.
Reid signed with the Colts during the preseason but was released during final roster cuts. He was on and off of the Cardinals’ roster last year. He signed with the Jaguars back in August and has been on and off their roster this season.
In 2020, Reid has appeared in three games for the Jaguars and recorded one tackle.
