Jaguars Re-Sign TE Connor Hamlett, Release WR Greg Jenkins From I.R.

The Jacksonville Jaguars made a few roster moves just a day after reducing their roster down to 75 players.

According to Ryan O’Halloran, the Jaguars have re-signed rookie TE Connor Hamlett, who was among their roster cuts earlier in the week. On top of that, Jacksonville released WR Greg Jenkins from the injured reserve list with an injury settlement.

Jenkins wound up reverting to injured reserve after the team waived/injured him this week, but it appears as though he’s ready to look for a new opportunity.

Hamlett, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Oregon State back in May, but later signed a three-year, $1.58 million contract with the Jaguars.

During his three years at Oregon State, Hamlett caught 104 passes for 1,109 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns.
