According to Ian Rapoport, Jaguars third-round LB Quincy Williams is out four to six weeks with a slight tear in his meniscus.
Rapoport says the rookie will undergo arthroscopic surgery to trim his meniscus and shouldn’t miss much game time this season.
Williams, 22, was the No. 98 overall pick by the Jaguars out of Murray State. He’s projected to receive a four-year, $3,342,172 rookie contract including an $822,172 signing bonus.
During his college career at Murray State, Williams recorded 202 total tackles, one sack, three interceptions, and eight pass defenses.
