Lynch was a rotational edge rusher for the Bears for the past couple of seasons after being drafted out of USF by the 49ers. He returns to Florida to play presumably a similar role for the Jaguars.
Lynch, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the 49ers back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2.418 million contract before signing a one-year deal with the Bears for the 2018 season.
Lynch re-signed with Chicago on another one-year deal for the 2019 season.
In 2019, Lynch appeared in all 16 games for the Bears and recorded six total tackles, two sacks, and two pass defenses.
We had him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
