Flanagan, 25, wound up signing on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh back in May of 2018. He was waived at the start of the regular season and later signed to Washington’s practice squad.
The Redskins elected to promote Flanagan to their active roster in December of last year but was waived with an injury designation and eventually cut from their injured reserve with a settlement.
In 2018, Flanagan appeared in three games and recorded one reception for 14 yards and no touchdowns.
