Jaguars Signing LB Jake Ryan

Mike Garafolo reports that the Jaguars are signing former Packers LB Jake Ryan on Saturday. The agreement is pending a physical and the terms of Ryanโ€™s contract arenโ€™t known at this time.

The Packers reportedly expressed some interest in re-signing Ryan, but it looks like the Jaguars proved to be his best option.

Ryan, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Packers back in 2015. He finished out the final year of his four-year, $2,736,676 contract and made a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season.

However, Ryan was placed on injured reserve last August with a torn ACL. Heโ€™s now an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career.

In 2017, Ryan appeared in 15 games for the Packers and recorded 81 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and a recovery.

We had him featured in our Top 100 Available Free Agents list.
