Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Jaguars are signing RB Roc Thomas to a contract on Sunday.
In a corresponding move, the team waived CB Jocquez Kalili to make room on the roster.
Thomas is suspended for the first three games of the 2019 season, but plans to join the team in Baltimore for their practices with the Ravens this week.
Thomas, 23, signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Jacksonville State in 2018. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Vikings and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.
The Vikings waived Thomas in November, but re-signed him to the practice squad. Thomas returned to Minnesota on a futures contract this past January before being waived a few weeks ago.
In 2018, Thomas appeared in five games and rushed for 30 yards on eight carries (3.8 YPC) to go along with two receptions for 21 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
