According to Damond Talbot of NFL Draft Diamonds, the Jaguars are signing former 49ers FB Bruce Miller to a contract on Saturday.
The Jaguars have already confirmed the news and announced the release of FB Connor Slomka.
This is the first opportunity for Miller since he charged with seven felonies for assaulting a 70-year old man and his son back in 2016.
Talbot says Miller was recently exonerated of all charges in the matter.
Miller allegedly punched a 70-man-old man in the face, which resulted in the man sustaining broken bones at a Marriott hotel in San Francisco. Both individuals were taken to the hospital with Miller leaving the scene, but he was later being apprehended and arrested.
The 49ers wasted little time in releasing him shortly after the news broke of the alleged assault.
Miller, 33, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2011. He was in the third year of his four-year, $6.831 million contract at the time of his release.
In 2015, Miller appeared in all 16 games for the 49ers and ran for 14 yards on six carries to go along with 10 receptions for 135 yards receiving and one total touchdown.
