Tom Pelissero reports that the Jaguars are waiving RB David Williams on Thursday to clear space for signing rookies.
In 2018, Williams appeared in six games for the Jaguars and rushed for 36 yards on eight carries (4.5 YPC) and no touchdowns.
Williams, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Broncos back in 2018. He agreed to a four-year, $2,553,980 contract with the Broncos that included a $93,980 signing bonus.
However, the Broncos waived him coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad. The Jaguars added him to their active roster midseason and he finished out the year in Jacksonville.
