The Jacksonville Jaguars officially placed WR Dredrick Snelson on injured reserve on Friday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.
Snelson wound up going undrafted out of UCF back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Jaguars.
Jacksonville waived Snelson with an injury designation on Thursday to make room for for supplemental WR Marcus Simms.
During his three-year college career at UCF, Snelson caught 106 passes for 1,519 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns over the course of 32 games. He also rushed for 16 yards and a touchdown on four carries.
