Jay Cutler โ€œNot Expectedโ€ To Play In Week 13

Chicago Bears HC Marc Trestman told reporters on Monday that QB Jay Cutler is โ€œnot expectedโ€ to play against the Vikings this weekend.

Trestman insisted that โ€œthereโ€™s nothing other than a high ankle sprain involved here,โ€ which is a good indication that he could be back some time soon. Trestman added that he is, โ€œtotally confident heโ€™ll play again this season.โ€

Cutler has been listed as week-to-week after he suffered a high-ankle sprain back in Week 10, but it appears as though there is a chance he could be back in time to play against the Cowboys in Week 14.

Josh McCown completed 36-of-47 passes for 352 yards, two touchdowns and an interception during Sundayโ€™s game, which is another pretty good stat line.

Weโ€™ll have more regarding Cutlerโ€™s status as the news is available.
