Jets Bring In P Zoltan Mesko For A Workout

 

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the Jets worked out veteran P Zoltan Mesko last week.

Reports from a few weeks ago mentioned that Mesko had visited with the Redskins, so there is at least some level of interest in his services.

Several teams have added competition at punter and kicker ahead of training camp, so it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see New York bring someone like Mesko in after the draft.

Last year, appeared in seven games while he was with the Steelers, but was later released and eventually signed by the Bengals before the playoffs.
