Jets Claim WR Braxton Berrios Off Waivers From Patriots

The New York Jets have claimed WR Braxton Berrios off of waivers from the Patriots on Sunday, according to Adam Schefter. 

Berrios, 23, was a sixth-round pick by the Patriots out of Miami in 2018. He was entering the second year of his four-year, $2,578,408 rookie contract when the Patriots waived him coming out of the preseason.

During his four-year college career, Berrios recorded 100 receptions for 1,175 receiving yards (11.8 YPC) and 14 touchdowns.

Berrios has yet to appear in an NFL game.
