The New York Jets announced Friday that they’ve placed DL John Franklin-Myers on injured reserve to make room for QB David Fales, who has been re-signed.
Franklin-Myers, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Rams back in 2018. The Rams waived him coming out of the preseason and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Jets.
Franklin-Myers is in the second year of his four-year, $2.9 million contract.
In 2018, Franklin-Myers appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and recorded 10 tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble and a recovery.
