Jets Plan To “Revisit” Possibly Re-Signing Terrelle Pryor Next Week

Jets HC Todd Bowles said Friday that they will “revisit” the Terrelle Pryor situation after Sunday’s game, per Rich Cimini.

Adam Schefter reported last week that Pryor is close to 100 percent and has made enough progress from his groin injury that he could be ready to play soon.

According to Schefter, “several” teams are interested in Pryor and have contacted him to

Pryor, 29, was taken by the Raiders in the third round of the 2011 supplemental draft. He lasted a little over three years in Oakland before he was traded to the Seahawks for a seventh-round pick that ultimately became DB Jonathan Dowling.

Pryor briefly played for the Chiefs and Bengals before later being claimed off of waivers by the Browns. Cleveland elected to cut him loose to make room for RB Robert Turbin last year before bringing him back.

The Browns signed him to a one-year, $1.67 million restricted deal in 2016 before he departed for a one-year, $6 million contract with the Redskins.

Pryor signed a one-year contract with the Jets this offseason worth $4.5 million with $2 million guaranteed only to release him last weekend with an injury settlement.

In 2018, Pryor has appeared in six games and recorded 14 receptions for 235 yards receiving (16.8 YPC) and scored two touchdowns.
