Jets Release Veteran DL Kevin Vickerson From I.R.

The Jets announced Wednesday that they’ve released veteranย DL Kevin Vickerson from the injured reserve list.

Vickerson, 32, signed a one-year contract worth $950,000 with the Jets back in March. However, he wound up being placed on season-ending injured reserve a few weeks ago.

In 2014, Vickerson appeared in 15 games for the Chiefs in 2014 and recorded 12 tackles and a pass defense.ย Pro Football Focusย has him down for playing 175 snaps last year to go along with a decent rating as a run-defender.
