The New York Jets officially waived DB John Battle on Thursday and signed DB Mark Myers to a contract.
Myers, 24, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Southeastern College in 2018. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract but was waived coming out of the preseason.
The Buccaneers later signed Myers to their practice squad only to cut him loose a month later.
During his final year at Southeastern, Myers recorded 16 tackles, a forced fumble, an interception and a pass defense over the course of 12 games.
