Jets Sign Fifth-Round Pick ILB Jeremiah George

 

According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Jets have signed fifth-round pick ILB Jeremiah George to a four-year contract.

George played four years at Iowa State and totaled 225 tackles, 16 tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks, two interceptions and three forced fumbles.

He joins a Jets roster that includes guys like David Harris, Demario Davis, Troy Davis, and Nick Bellore at the inside linebacker position.

George isn’t all that tall for an inside linebacker, but has some quickness that should really be of help to him as he competes for a roster spot in training camp.
