Adam Schefter reports that the Brows free agent RB Isaiah Crowell intends to sign a 3-year deal with the Jets.
Crowell, 25, originally joined the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama State back in 2014. He played out his rookie contract and re-signed with the team as a restricted free agent last year.
Crowell was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time.
In 2017, Crowell appeared all 16 games for the Browns and rushed for 853 yards on 206 carries (4.1 YPC) to go along with 28 receptions for 182 yardss receiving and two touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 27 running back out of 62 qualifying players.
