Agent Brett Tessler announced that his client, OL Josh Andrews, is signing a contract with the Jets.
Andrews, 28, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in 2014. He spent his rookie season on the Eagles’ practice squad before returning to the team on a futures contract.
The Eagles elected to cut Andrews loose at the start of the 2017 season and later added him to their practice squad. Andrew signed a futures contract with the Vikings but was waived with an injury settlement at the start of the regular season and later returned to the Eagles’ practice squad.
He was claimed off Philadelphia’s taxi squad in November of 2018 by the Colts and has spent the last two years in Indianapolis.
In 2019, Andrews appeared in six games for the Colts as a backup
