Jets Waive S Brandon Bryant

The New York Jets announced Thursday that they’ve waived S Brandon Bryant.

Bryant opened training camp on the Jets’ active/PUP list and has been dealing with a concussion in recent weeks.

Bryant, 23, wound up signing on with the Jets after going undrafted in the 2018 Supplemental draft. The Jets waived him coming out of the preseason and later signed on to their practice squad after clearing waivers.

Bryant has yet to appear in an NFL game.

During his college career at Mississippi State, Bryant recorded 157 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 1.5 sacks, five interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, seven pass defenses and a forced fumble over three seasons and 37 games played.
