The Jets officially waived S Dion Bailey, DL Jake Ceresna and RB Romar Morris with injury designations on Tuesday to get down the 75-man roster limit.
Should they clear waivers tomorrow, all three would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.
Bailey, 24, signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of USC back in May of last year. He’s been on an off of the team’s practice squad, but was brought back on a future/reserve contract back in February.
Seattle elected to waive him last year, but he was later claimed off of waivers by the Jets.
In 2015, Bailey appeared in seven games and recorded 22 tackles, a half sack, no interceptions and two pass defenses.
