Jets Worked Out CFL WR Luke Tasker

According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Jets worked out Luke Tasker, the son of former Pro Bowl WR Steve Tasker, on Wednesday.

The Jets are likely considering Tasker as a possible futures signing.

Tasker, 27, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Cornell back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in San Diego before he was waived coming out of the preseason.

Tasker later signed on with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL and has spent the past five seasons in Canada.

In total, Tasker has caught 341 passes for 4,224 yards receiving and 24 touchdowns for the Tiger-Cats over the course of 64 games. He is a three-time CFL All-Star.
