The Kansas City Chiefs announced yesterday that Packers executive John Dorsey will be their next GM.
Dorsey, a former 4th round linebacker for the Packers 1984-88, joins the Chiefs front office and is reunited with new head coach Andy Reid.
Dorsey leaves Green Bay after having helped build the Packers into an annual contender. He’s known for being a great talent evaluator and even spent a good deal of time as the Packers’ director of college scouting. Dorsey took over for Reggie McKenzie after he departed for Oakland’s GM position.
This looks to be a great hire for the Chiefs.
