Kevin Kolb Ready To Return?

The Arizona Cardinals could actually get QB Kevin Kolb back in time for week 12’s game against the St Louis Rams.

Kolb has been dealing with a number of injuries but his toe has been the biggest concern thus far. He was able to participate in the teams practice throughout the week without any setbacks despite only taking a limited amount of the first-team snaps.

It’s just a thing where he has to warm it up,” said head coach Ken Whisenhunt, via AZCardinals.com. “He has to get back into the flow of football.”

There had been some growing support for Kolb’s backup QB John Skelton but a terrible performance against the San Francisco 49ers helped to calm a possible quarterback controversy. Kolb is in need of a great performance in the near future as his 2011 season has been very disappointing to say the least. The fact that Skelton has more wins in only a limited amount of playing time isn’t helping fans feel any better about sending draft picks and then signing him to a pretty large contract.
