Kwon Alexander Would “Love” To Re-Sign With Buccaneers

Buccaneers ILB Kwon Alexander, who is in line to be an unrestricted free agent next month, says he would “love” to be back in Tampa Bay.

“Yeah, I love Tampa, man. I love Tampa Bay,” Alexander said during a radio interview, per Rick Stroud. “This is where they first brought me. I’ve just been balling. I just love everything about it.

Alexander is working his way back from a torn ACL he suffered last October, which should leave him in position to return around the start of training camp. Even so, it’s unlikely he’ll do a lot in terms of practicing leading up to the 2019 season.

Alexander, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2015. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2,758,320 contract and set to be an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career next year.

In 2018, Alexander appeared in six games and recorded 45 tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles and two pass defenses.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2019 NFL Free Agents list.
