Adrian Petersonโs appeal hearing has concluded on Tuesday. He wound up giving aย statement in court, but did not testify, according to Ian Rapoport.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk is reporting that theย Harold Henderson has ruled thatย Troy Vincent must testify in Peterson’s appeal hearing about their conversations.
According to Florio, this rulingย could set the stage for a settlement as this would preventย Vincent from having to testify.
NFL Players Association submitted a transcript and audiotape of conversations between Peterson and Vincentย on Tuesday.ย Vincent allegedly said on the recording thatย Peterson would get credit for โtime servedโ and the newย domestic violence policy would notย beย applied retroactively.

- NFLPA lead counsel Jeffrey Kessler mentionedย Peterson’s hearing will continue on Thursday, whichย presumably be the day Vincent testifies, per Garafolo.
Vincent was in Washington D.C. on Tuesday testifying aboutย domestic violence. According to numerous reports,ย Vincent broke down while offering anย emotional testimony.
The deadline for a ruling in Peterson’s case is expected to come “as soon as practicable,” according to Pro Football Talk.
