Adam Schefter reports that the Lions are bringing in DL Ricky Jean-Francois for a visit on Tuesday.
Jean-Francois, 32, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2009. He played four seasons for San Francisco before departing and signing on with the Colts as an unrestricted free agent.
After two years, the Colts cut Jean-Francois loose and he signed a three-year, $9 million contract with the Redskins in February of 2015. Washington released him during the offseason and he later signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Packers.
Jean-Francois was on and off of the Packers’ roster before the Patriots signed him to a contract in 2017. The Lions signed him to a one-year deal last offseason as an unrestricted free agent and finished out the year on the active roster.
This is the first reported interest in him since entering the market.
In 2018, Jean-Francois appeared in all 16 games for the Lions and recorded 30 total tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks.
