According to Howard Balzer, the Detroit Lions brought in free agent DT Al Woods for a visit on Thursday.
This is the first reported interest in Woods since the free agent market officially opened.
Woods, 31, is a former fourth-round pick of the Saints back in 2010. However, he lasted just a few months in New Orleans before he was waived at the start of the 2010 season.
Woods has played for a number of teams including the Steelers, Buccaneers, Seahawks and Titans before the Colts signed him to a one-year contract last year.
In 2018, Woods appeared in 14 games for the Colts and recorded 24 tackles, no sacks and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 97 interior defender out of 112 qualifying players.
