The Detroit Lions signed veteran S Chris Hope on Monday. They also released WR Brian Robiskie to make room for Hope.
Hope, 33, spent time with Lions HC Jim Schwartz while in Tennessee, so he should be able to provide some veteran leadership to their secondary.
The Lions have already released Robiskie once this offseason, which is a pretty clear indication that they see him as nothing more than a contingency.
