The Detroit Lions brought in three free agents for tryouts on Saturday including TE Ben Koyack, TE Hunter Thedford and DT Josh Avery, according to Albert Breer.
The Lions have been very active in bringing free agents in for workouts and visits over last week or so, which implies they could be updating their emergency lists should they need to add some players.
Koyack, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2015. He was waived a few months later and signed to the Jaguars’ practice squad.
Koyack has been on and off the team’s roster ever since.
For his career, Koyack has appeared in 48 games for the Jaguars and caught 25 passes for 208 yards receiving and one touchdown.
