Field Yates reports that the Lions brought in free agent WRย Brandon Marshall for a workout on Monday.
The Lions have worked out someย notable free agent receivers in the past week including Jeremy Kerley and Bruce Ellington.
Marshall, 34, is a former fourth-round pick by the Broncos in the 2009 NFL Draft. After four years in Denver, he was traded to the Dolphins in 2010.ย Marshall’s time in Miami was limited to just two season before he was once again traded, this time to the Bears in return for two third-round picks.
In total, Marshall spent three seasons with the Bears, but was traded for a third time to the Jets in March of 2015.ย Marshall was in the final year of his contract when the Jets released him last offseason and he later signed aย two-year, $12 million with the Giants.
However, the Giants released Marshall this past April and he later signed aย one-year deal worth up to $2 million with the Seahawks before being waived last week.
In 2018, Marshall has appeared in six games for the Seahawks and caught 11 passes for 136 yards receiving and one touchdown.
