LSU CB Morris Claiborne Will Undergo Surgery On His Wrist

LSU CB Morris Claiborne told the New Orleans Times-Picayune that will undergo surgery to repair a a torn ligament in his wrist.

Claiborne mentioned that he suffered the injury during the teams’ overtime win over Alabama but was able to play through it. Normally it’s a bad sign for a players draft stock to undergo an unexpected surgery before the draft, but he’s clearly the best available corner in this years draft class. On top of that, he should still be ready for training camp.

Claiborne helped himself during his Pro Day by posting forty times of  4.47 to 4.39.
