ESPN New Yorkย reports that Jets QBย Mark Sanchezย recentlyย spent time with former Dolphins QB Chad Pennington in an attempt to learn Tony Sparano’s offensive system.
Pennington played forย Sparano for three season inย Miami so the meeting is at the very least a sign that Sanchezย realizesย that this season will most likely be a make or break season for him.
Sanchez is unable to meet withย Sparano directly until April 16th because of the CBA rules so it makes sense for him to prepare ahead of time.
ESPN New York reports that leagues source have suggested that Chad Henne is one of the quarterbacks on Jets’ “radar.”
Henne’s name has already been floated as possible free agent option for the Jets now that they’ve hired former Dolphins head coachย Tony Sparano as their offenisve coordinator. Other reports have mentioned that Henne could be the third best available option at quarterback on the open market behind only Peyton Manning and Matt Flynn.
