Pro Football Weeklyย reports that Matt Flynn was the best quarterback “by far” in the Seattle Seahawk’s first OTA practice open to the media.
Flynn has had an equal number of reps with last season’s starter, Tarvaris Jackson, and third-round rookie Russell Wilson in early OTAs, and Flynn stood out from the trio in terms of withstanding pressure and avoiding turnovers. The Seahawks have more OTAs, beginning on Wednesday and lasting through Friday.
Team sources say that it’s too early to know if there is a frontrunner in the race to be the starting QB in 2012, but by the sounds of it, Flynn is the leader.
