Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Matt Patricia could target Boston College DL coach Paul Pasqualoni for the Lions’ defensive coordinator position.
Rapoport points out that Pasqualoni was a mentor of Patricia’s and could take a job on the staff after the Super Bowl.
Pasqualoni, 68, began his coaching career at Cheshire HS as an assistant back in 1972. Since then he’s held a number of college jobs at S. Connecticut State, W. Connecticut State and Syracuse before joining the NFL ranks in 2005.
Pasqualoni worked for the Cowboys, Dolphins, Bears and Texans before joining Boston College as their DL coach in 2016.
We’ll have more regarding the Lions’ defensive coordinator job as the news is available.
