Ndamukong Suh Scheduled To Meet With Raiders Wednesday

Adam Schefter reports that free agent DTย Ndamukong Suh is scheduled to visit with the Raiders on Wednesday.

Suh met with the Rams on Tuesday and also previously visited with the Saints and Titans. He has also come up as an option for the Seahawks and Cowboys, but has yet to schedule a visit with either team.

Schultzย previously reported that Suh wantsย to take his time with this process and evaluate a “plethora of options” with his family, so it’s possible he’ll take more visits in the coming days.

It’s worth mentioning that signing him to a contract won’t impact a team’s 2019 compensatory picks, given that he was released this offseason.

Suh, 31, is a former first-round pick of the Lions back in 2010. He spent five years in Detroit before signing a six-year, $114 million contract that included $60 million guaranteed with the Dolphins a few years ago.

Suh was set to make base salaries of $16.985 million (2018), $18.985 million (2019), and $18.36 million (2020) over the remainder of the contract when the Dolphins designated him as a post-June 1 release.

In 2017, Suh appeared in all 16 games for the Dolphins and recorded 48 tackles, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass defenses.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 5 interior defender out of 122 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
