Bears

• Bears TE Ben Braunecker (concussion) and DT Bilal Nichols (knee) did not travel with the team to Buffalo for Week 9.
• Bears placed G Kyle Long on injured reserve. (NFLTR)
• Bears promoted RB Taquan Mizzell to their active roster.

Packers

• The Green Bay Packers officially downgraded WR Geronimo Allison (hamstring/groin) to out for Sunday’s game against the Patriots after he did not travel to New England.
• Packers CB Tony Brown (hip) has been added to the injury report and is questionable for Week 9.
• Packers signed P Drew Kaser. (NFLTR)
• Tom Silverstein reports that J.K. Scott will still be the Packers’ punter long term, but he may not be their punter for Sunday’s game.

Lions

• Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports that Lions QB Matthew Stafford practiced throughout the week with a glove on his non-throwing hand due to a pinky injury he sustained last week.
• The Lions have ruled out LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin (neck/toe) from Sunday’s game at Minnesota.

• Lions waived CB Cre’Von LeBlanc.

Vikings

• According to Mike Garafolo, Vikings CB Xavier Rhodes “tweaked” his ankle during Friday’s practice and is “truly” questionable for Week 9.
• Nick Korte of OverTheCap.com notes that the Vikings will not receive a 2019 third-round compensatory pick for Bradford, who was not re-signed by Minnesota the last offseason.
• Vikings promoted WR Chad Beebe to their active roster. (NFLTR)
