Bears
The Bears may have found another late-round defensive contributor in sixth-round CB Duke Shelley. The rookie has built off a strong spring so far in the early goings of camp and is making a case for playing time at nickel corner.
โHeโs physical,โ HC Matt Nagy said via the Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs. โHe has ball skills. Itโs what we saw on tape. He has great energy and heโs smart. He can play inside, he can play outside, heโs done some things for us that have been good. But itโs still early in camp. Hopefully we can see more in the preseason.โ

- Packers HC Matt LaFleur said the team would know more in a few days about the extent of CB Kevin King‘s injury. (Rob Demovsky)

Vikings
- Vikings HC Gary Kubiak said TE Irv Smith is โswimmingโ a little bit but thatโs just because he is a rookie. (Chris Tomasson)
