NFC Notes: Bears, Cowboys, Redskins, Vikings

Bears

  • Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Bears OLB Khalil Mack got rolled up on Sunday and injured his ankle, but managed to gut it out. Rapoport says there will be an update regarding Mack’s status later on in the week.

Cowboys

  • Cowboys HC Jason Garrett said Monday that WR Tavon Austin is unlikely to play in Week 7’s game against Washington and “might need a little bit of time,” as he deals with a groin injury. (Todd Archer)
  • Garrett mentioned that LB Sean Lee is “getting closer and closer” to returning. (Calvin Watkins)

Redskins

Vikings

  • Vikings HC Mike Zimmer said it was a “close” call in regards to RB Dalvin Cook (hamstring) playing on Sunday but “we just have to feel comfortable with it.” (Andrew Krammer)
  • Vikings placed CB Mike Hughes on season-ending injured reserve. (NFLTR)
