Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Vikings fear CB Mike Hughes suffered a torn ACL during Sunday’s win over the Cardinals.

Hughes is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury and the Vikings are still holding out hope he isn’t out for the season.

Hughes, 21, was taken with the No. 30 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft by the Vikings. He agreed to a four-year, $9,867,494 contract that includes a $5,256,352 signing bonus.

The contract includes a fifth-year option for the Vikings to pick up in 2021.

Entering today’s game, Hughes had appeared in five games for the Vikings and recorded 21 tackles, one interception returned for a touchdown, a forced fumble and three pass defenses to go along with 120 kick and punt return yards.

We’ll have more regarding Hughes as the news is available.
