Cowboys
Ian Rapoport reports that the NFL found no wrongdoing by the Cowboys and members of their coaching staff in regards to possible tampering with Seahawks S Earl Thomas.
- Todd Archer reports that the Cowboys have hired Carlos Polk as an assistant special teams coach, replacing Doug Colman.
- Cowboys owner Jerry Jones declined to comment on RB Ezekiel Elliott‘s potential holdout. (Clarence Hill Jr.)

Packers
- The Green Bay Packers announced Friday that they’ve retained assistant special teams coach Maurice Drayton and hired Wendel Davis and Christian Parker as defensive quality control coaches.
- The Packers also retained DL coach Jerry Montgomery and RBs coach Ben Sirmans as part of Matt LaFleur’s staff.
- The Packers also promoted Jason Simmons to DBs coach and Ryan Downard to assistant DBs coach.
Rams
- According to Tom Pelissero, Rams K Greg Zuerlein should be okay for the Super Bowl after hurting his foot stepping on a steel plate under the turf in New Orleans.
- Rams special teams coordinator John Fassel explained that it’s really a “bad bruise” but they haven’t changed up their routine this week for Zuerlein and it shouldn’t affect his kicking ability.
